PGM Fantastic Four #1

This is a low-grade copy of my Holy Grail. Its major flaw is the heavy tape staining (the cellophane tape itself is long gone) on all the edges. But there's no repair of any tears, and it doesn't intrude too much on the cover artwork itself. You may assume the pages are cream to off-white, and no other chunks missing or other major flaws.

If the staples are firmly holding onto the cover and the cover isn't split, I'd give it a 1.5. But if the cover isn't attached on one of the staples, I'd give it a 1.0.

 

That's a tough one! Go 1.5 inches in from the cover's edge and the book looks great!!

I think the original owner taped all the edges to "preserve" it, since there are no tears. Niiice. Now all the edges are brown and brittle. But you're right -- the tape frames a pretty nice copy!
