PGM: X-men 141 & 142

Hello, I just picked up these X-men books, #141 and #142, and looking for some grade opinions. Thanks

I'd say a 6 on 141. The 142 maybe a 6.5

If it’s just dirt on the back cover of the #141, I‘d say it’s better.

To play safe, let’s say F+ but I can’t see why they couldn’t be towards F/VF, if besides the defects the cover are bright and lay flat…

Hey guys thanks for the reply. Those grades are a bit lower than I was hoping. I was thinking the 141 might be an 8.0/VF and the 142 was about an 8.5/VF+. I'm still learning the grading game though.

Would play safe assuming no higher than F/VF, which means 7.0 as a numeric "equivalent". The overall wear, small creases, etc. does not make for a VF+, maybe the best would be a VF- 7.5. I’m no expert either, I just go on what I have seen and mostly what I would buy for a given grade.

Those fingerprints on the back cover are going to hurt the #141 6.0

#142 7.0

I'm going 6.0/6.5 on the #141 and 7.0/7.5 on the #142, leaning towards the .5 on both.
