Great photo, I dont think I ever had a"bought" costume growing up in the late 70s to the 80s....

 

I'm currently in the process of making my daughters costume (Car's Lightning McQueen) rather than shelling out $60 for something prefab thats sub-par...

My family was poor. We had to borrow a short priest's frock for that Leia outfit. Don't spoil my childhood memories.

reminds me of my first star wars costume..

 

and I was not the freaking princess har har

 

my mom always made my costumes unless we were in a rush or something like we just moved etc..

 

I usually love halloween..Not so sure about this year
