I quit smoking 7 months ago and I've probably saved $1200 roughly so far by not buying cigarettes. I think by the 12 month mark I'll be at about $2000. So if you were going to buy yourself a nice celebration comic book present for between $1500-$2000 what would you go for?

 

WD#1 will not be on my list, but maybe an ASM14 or a Hulk181. I'm not sure, I've got a few months to think about it.

I'm more into high value books, I'd end up with 1000 $2 books.

Solid idea I didn't think about those books. I have a raw ASM run from 200-current and a few pieces between 100-200 so those would be nice additions. Or a high grade 129 (mine's a cgc 6.0)

If i had 2000 i probably wouldnt spend it on comics but if i were to id get an all star western run from the original 1950's series. probably could get them all for just under 2000

2K on comics? Hmm I'd get a Walking Dead 1. Some people here have listed bronze age keys but you can get those at anytime and the price of those have pretty much held for the last 5 years.

Yeah, original Detective 27s in 9.0 are just a tad over $2000.
