Sorry to hear about the breakup, it's a tough thing to go through.

 

Thanks for sharing, this thread drags up great memories.

 

The young guys don't know what it was like to buy comics in the :preach: old days. Going through the catalogs, picking out what you wanted and alternates in case what you wanted was already sold. Mailing a cheque or money order and waiting and waiting to see what you'd get. Gad, it was torture.

Wow! How wonderful to see that again! A small shop in Michigan was the lucky winner.

 

50 million... it sounds like a lot, but by the time I sold ComiCovers to Diamond in 1995 that number had grown to 800 million.
