PGM: Sgt. Fury #13

This is another one from my lucky Sgt. Fury hoard a few weeks ago. Pretty stoked about having a #13. The damage at the top is bothersome but the book otherwise is nice. The scan doesn't seem to capture that as well as I would have hoped, but it never does...

Agree with the 3.5. That said, one of my very favorite Silver Age books - congrats on the pickup!

Yeah, I still can't believe my luck. Using all the grades I've received here and my own experience in grading, I've turned a collection of 39 books that I paid $150 into a nearly $1000 set.

 

Most are so-so in grade, but a few are very nice indeed. (too bad the early numbers are always on the outside of the pile....)

3.0/3.5 caps eyes have always freaked me out on this cover, still want one though

Yes, Cap’s eyes definitely give the right tone of drama to the composition.

Inking on the cover seems Chic Stone which i really love; who inks the story?
