I wonder why tape stains would be listed as resto. That doesn't make sense. A defect yes, but not resto.

I agree with you on the tape stains, it's one of those things that CGC only designates for certain books. Just like how some books will have glue on the spine with slight color touch, but still be assigned a Universal Grade, while other will not.
