Just found out that Hames Ware passed away yesterday from a five year battle with cancer.

As many of you know, he was a GA researcher and the co-editor of The Who's Who of American Comic Books.

lol  My family did the Advent Candle thing, but I've seen the calendars.

If anyone would like to light candles while playing The Grid Game, please be safe.  Close book before striking, and do not leave candles unattended.

Yeah...this isn't going to sit well with a lot of people.  Sadly, it's the only way to avoid most forms of Shaken Comic Syndrome (SCS).

I wonder if this applies to pressers who have traditionally shuttled books back and forth.
