Ken really killed it in 2015...with more points than anyone in the entire history of the annual Ditch Point Awards...truly an amazing achievement.

:applause:

Congrats to both of the winners. I never saw Harveyswick in action but hats off to Ken Aldred and his outstanding memory.

I look forward to DPC 2016... and those rare moments where Ken doesn't participate ;)

Anyone get the email on the new forum?

Sure did.

They finally found some motivation. :)

a few questions...

1 - will there be a max exodus?

2 - how many banned members from here will join over there?

3 - how soon before a "newton" ring thread is started?

4 - will I be able to discuss climate change and/or politics?

5 - will there be birthday threads?

6 - will people bring their grudges over there? :wishluck:

I know you did lol I couldn't find one and hoped you'd give me the points anyway

Here's the evidence of its appearance in the movie...

IMDB Midnight Special Trivia

One of the comic books Alton is reading is New Teen Titans Annual #1 (1982 or reprint), where you can see Starfire & Blackfire fighting each other.

Points worthy...?

Very nice.

I once played in the pit in marching band. Sophomore year, and we were doing a "Scheherazade" suite (Rimsky-Korsakov)...(I think, it's been 30 years)...I was the drum major (conductor), but during the percussion solo, I had convinced the band director that I could play the glock (the metal keyboard instrument on the far left in the video) and so I got down off the podium and did. My first, last, and only time as a percussionist.

:D

I was ok with one pair of mallets, and that's all that was needed, but I don't think I could have ever gotten the hang of doubles. Those guys are fierce.

Here's some incredible pit action from my days in drum corps...no good shots of them, but you can hear the keyboard instruments, who were...pun intended...instrumental to this show:

3:01 to 3:08 is an example of the madness.

Percussion won the caption that year.

I'm in there somewhere, but I was playing baritone bugle.
