it comes out tomorrow and some comic shops that got theirs today are already trying to sell the variants.

It felt to me a bit like one of the filler stories they used to do in 2000AD in between big story arcs. And I wasn't that keen on the art, although I didn't hate it.

 

I would have loved them to get John Wagner to write the first arc, and a well-known Dredd artist to draw it.

 

I'm sure it'll be successful - I hope so anyway - but I just don't know how much it'll appeal to hardcore Dredd fans.

if you are brand new to JD and haven't read the old stuff then maybe a yawn since it's more like an anthology. As a fan of Judge Dredd comics for years i thought it was pretty good. I give it a 3 out of 5 and will continue to buy.

Just not my thing, though it was ok but not really my thing. if I had to rate it I would say a 3 out of 5 at best.
