Selling Avengers #'s 2,3,5 and 6 all CGC VF+ does anyone have an Overstreet?

I want to list these books on ebay but I don't have an overstreet anywhere in my house can someone please give me an idea of what these books are worth so I can either sell them on ebay or sell them to a board member.

 

Avengers #2 CGC 8.5 cr/ow

Avengers #3 CGC 8.5 ow

Avengers #5 CGC 8.5 ow

Avengers #6 CGC 8.5 ow

In general Cream to Off-White pages is the kiss of death for these issues. I've seen plenty of high-grade early Marvel Silver-Age issues sell for 30-40% below average price because of the page quality.

 

I know a few board members who don't care, but in almost every post that we have discussed this, 4 out of 5 collectors won't buy them.

 

The one thing to remember about GPAnalysis, is not only do you not know the page quality, but you also don't know if there were date stamps, writing, terrible quality of production, marvel chipping, etc. that has effect the price.

As an aside, I recently resubmitted a book that was C-OW and got OW pages on the resubmittal. Buy the book, not the label.

I think C/OW is a large range.

Borderline COW/OW books are OK with me.

You can usually tell if the creaming primeter is strong when the cover itself is affected.

If you can't see any creaming on the cover then it's probably one of those "just barely creaming" on the edge books.

Avengers #'s 2,3 and 5 are now on ebay. Not sure what the heck happened though. I paid for the picture pack which should allow everyone to supersize each picture but it will only allow me to make one larger. That kind of stinks. Oh yeah any and all thrill/joy bids are welcome of course.
