So, there I was last night at the estate auction, and they kept putting up interesting piles of comics, and I kept getting outbid more often than not, and I STILL came home broke.

 

I managed to glom onto some pretty interesting stuff while the crazies chased the Superhero goodies, and the gem of the bunch was:

 

Little Dot 1, first appearance of RICHIE RICH!

 

In order to rationalize keeping that one for myself, I feel obligated to sell enough

stuff to pay for it, so here goes another thread.

(Although there may be a five buck comic or two in here somewhere)

Shipping for individual books is $6 Priority to US and general mail service to Canada,

exact shipping across the Pond, probably at least in the low two figures.

 

Lots will be sent in Priority medium flat rate boxes to US ($12 or so if memory serves)

exact shipping to Canada, and exact shipping to Europe and such, very pricey I expect.

 

 

Check or MO GREATLY preferred, but if you just gotta pay with PayPal PM me

Flat, square, glossy, supple white interior, excellent centering, excellent color.

Some minor problems, couple small dogears lower RH FC, small sliver off

lower LH FC, see the scan, smaller sliver off lower LH BC.

Hmm. On my screen, the scan is a bit darker than the book in hand.

 

Just so you know. Also, that little mite of something on the lower RH edge

isn't on the comic, must've been a random bit of fluff on the scanner bed.

The Haunt of Fear 23

 

Reverse stripped, the LOWER third of the cover is gone!

 

Strictly a reader, folks. Interior is complete, but cf is loose.

The tear from the missing chunk follows around onto the BC and halfway across

from there. Two more good sized tears on LH BC apx middle. I dunno if it'll show in

the scan, but there's a chunk out lower page 1, doesn't touch the art.

 

O'street G is $28, how about 8 bucks?

Here we go, a pretty Charlton romance book, the scan says it all.

 

Whiff of general wear, slight stacking roll, small ink arrival date. Very glossy book

Lovers 86 1957 Atlas

 

Don't know if this one is scarce or not, but I've never had another copy. Last issue

in the series.

 

Clean and glossy! but there's about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch tear through the whole book at the bottom of Biff's Letter Sweater sleeve center RH FC. May not be visible in scan.

 

Careful observers will see Vince Colletta's signature on top of Biff's leg, and if Biff's a Real Man, maybe on top of his manhood if he dresses to the left, LOL
