Planet Comics 68 Flat, square, glossy, supple white interior, excellent centering, excellent color. Some minor problems, couple small dogears lower RH FC, small sliver off lower LH FC, see the scan, smaller sliver off lower LH BC. Overstreet F is $153, asking $120

The Haunt of Fear 23 Reverse stripped, the LOWER third of the cover is gone! Strictly a reader, folks. Interior is complete, but cf is loose. The tear from the missing chunk follows around onto the BC and halfway across from there. Two more good sized tears on LH BC apx middle. I dunno if it'll show in

the scan, but there's a chunk out lower page 1, doesn't touch the art. O'street G is $28, how about 8 bucks

Teen-Age Love V2 #6, 1958 Here we go, a pretty Charlton romance book, the scan says it all. Whiff of general wear, slight stacking roll, small ink arrival date. Very glossy book $10

Lovers 86 1957 Atlas, Don't know if this one is scarce or not, but I've never had another copy. Last issue in the series. Clean and glossy! but there's about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch tear through the whole book at the bottom of Biff's Letter Sweater sleeve center RH FC. May not be visible in scan. Careful observers will see Vince Colletta's signature on top of Biff's leg, and if Biff's a Real Man, maybe on top of his manhood if he dresses to the left,  $18 takes it.

Pictorial Romances 22 Ooh, Precode Matt Baker! Your basic G, but a solid copy. Lots of general wear, light sub crease, slightly miscut, see RH edge and the white strip. Tight spine and interior. $30 takes it.

Love Romances 47, Atlas, the last pre-code issue, Solid book, very glossy, minor general wear. Solid spine and nice white interior. $25 takes it.

Sweetheart Diary 45 Another sharp Charlton, this one from 1959 Touch of distributor spray upper edge, whiff of stacking roll, but otherwise glossy square and solid. Pretty book altogether. $15 takes it.

 

Page 2:

Girls'Love Stories 23, DC 1953 Decent enough VG, with chip out lower spine, 1/8" tear lower BC, minor general wear $20

Katy Keene 43 Top notch copy! Tight spine and interior, white pages, flat, clean, glossy, some pretty minor general wear and a small dogear lower RH FC. That's really about it. It goes without saying that all dolls are intact. Asking real money for this one, $90 takes it.

Solid midgrader, with big ol/ dogear upper right, general wear, and a flimsy bit of BC

hanging on by a thread upper LH, that little waggler is about 1/8 x 1" long and hanging on by sheer force of will,

 

All that being said,

Oh, noted in passing, both Dean and Jerrys are from that period when DC was putting out 40 pagers!

 

Both of these split 20 front of the staple, 20 back. I've seen some others from that era that have 24 front (with half sheets) and 16 back.

Pretty nice at first glance, but there's a light stain about the size of a dime center BC

and a 1/2 x 1 piece out upper RH BC. Follows around from the tear you can see in

...so I've been thinking.

 

Does the crowd think that I should take a scan of the Little Dot 1 and post it here in

the thread, NOT for sale of course, just to make thirdgreenham growl and turn green

with envy?
