NO WHAMMIES!!!!

 

 

But in all honesty this guy (Paul Michael Larson) had some really and I mean really bad luck...

 

Fist he lost a huge chunk of that 110k in a ponzi scheme

and the remainder (40k) got robbed out of his house...

He had withdrew it all in 1 dollar bills (because of a radio contest

had a large prize that could match the serial numbers of what was said

over the radio)

 

His wife left him because he was so crazy over this money and so bitter that

it was all gone.

 

He got throat cancer and died at 49.

I remember watching that LIVE. Even back then at a tender age of 15 or so that there was a discern able pattern that could be exploited. His performance was awesome...nice to see CBS in their pants. His ADD got the best of him--I mean really... checking the serial numbers on $1 bills?

 

Didn't even know the host died in recent years...classic Whammy is awesome.
