in a deal where postage was offered in the sale price of a book, but no further instructions were indicated involving insurance or tracking, and the book never arrived, which is the correct resolution...

How reliable is this seller? Would he tell you that he sent the book, not actually send it and tell you it was lost and keep your money??

Aww crapola Shiv - that was me about moving the post and now I feel like drek. Anyway - you lack sufficient info. Previous experience? Rep of the seller? What kind of email was exchanged? How long since the book(s) was/were shipped. From where to where?
