I went back through my email archives to early 2000 (yes, I have all my emails saved going back that far, actually to May 1998... in fact I have around 290,000 inbound emails saved and another 200,000 outbound)...

that means 90,000 unanswered/ignored emails shocked.gif - no wonder forumites are burning you in effigy foreheadslap.gif

More than that... since some of the outbound were not replies, but new conversations.... 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

But by my reckoning, around 18,000 of them are somehow related to naked women... And another 45,000 are email replies from this site... confused-smiley-013.gif

A quick thank you to the five forumites who gave me the PowerSeller phone number. thumbsup2.gif

So I guess the key to having you open a PM is to include Ebay/PowerSeller information in the subject line...aha...... smirk.gif

As a general rule the 4x guide thing works just as long as the book is in

good shape and 4x guide doesn't blow it out of it's price bracket Example:

Spidey #155 - 159 list for $10 in Overstreet. 4x $10 = $40... I can tell

you right now you will NEVER sell one of these books for $40 no matter what

shape it's in. It's just too common. The Spideys usuall go for $10 - $15.[/i]

"NEVER" eh??? tongue.giftongue.giftongue.gif

NEVER!!!! DAMMIT I SAID NEVER!!!!! YA HEAR ME?!!!! 893frustrated.gif893frustrated.gif893frustrated.gif

GPA Stats...

ASM #155 CGC 9.0 -- $22.33

ASM #155 Variant CGC 9.0 -- $98.90

ASM #156 CGC 9.2 -- $27.37

ASM #156 Variant CGC 9.2 -- $120.75

ASM #157 CGC 8.0 -- $12.75

ASM #157 CGC 9.0 -- $25.82

ASM #157 CGC 9.2 -- $29.41

ASM #157 Variant CGC 8.0 -- $41.01

ASM #157 Variant CGC 9.0 -- $56.00

ASM #157 Variant CGC 9.2 -- $139.07

ASM #158 CGC 7.5 -- $23.13

ASM #158 Variant CGC 7.5 -- $71.30

No comparable sale on #159

So 4x is not totally off the mark

IIRC shortly thereafter you sold an X-Men #100 NM (pre-CGC days) for $500. Any a/b 2 years later I got $230 for a F/VF Kid Colt #207 (which Gem4 now has 893applaud-thumb.gif ).

My, my -- how time flys

I was wrong, multiple User IDs are allowed, however, as per eBay's rules:

"it is never permissible for those User IDs to interact with one another. For example, you cannot bid on your own auctions or leave comments on your own Feedback Profiles."

Funny thing... back in the day eBay used to allow you to place 1 bid on your own auction. I was completely amazed when I saw that in the rules. I don't know when they changed it but I'm pretty sure that's a big no-no now.
