3PG comic grading company???

I sent these guys an email a while back and this is the response I got when I asked for background info:

 

Thanks for your interest in 3PG - 3RD Party Grading.

 

We have been in the comic industry for well over 20 years, and at one time

owned and operated a chain of 4 stores in Bergen County, New Jersey. We did

have all of our info up on our web site, but felt we wanted to get away from

our great reputation and image as a dealer. Our business has been progressing

slowly and steadily since our inception last year. We want to offer a grading

service that has no ties to anyone or anything in the comics industry. A

totally impartial grading service! How are you involved in the comic industry?

Tell us a little more about yourself. Dealer? Collector? Media? Give us a try,

actions speak louder than words!

their slabs suck.

 

the comic is sealed in a bag, with a seperator between the book & the label (as seen in the posted pics). They they sandwich the book between 2 panes of plexi-glass. 4 edge brackets hold the sandwich in place. Those edge brackets are only sealed in the corners.

 

Opened them up is simple, just stick a knife under the glue spots and pry up on the knife

you mean the sell out Aerosmith or the on-drugs Aerosmith? i think that the "love in the elevator" Aerosmith ruins the "sweet emotions" Aerosmith.
