JerryAmsterdam
My local comic book store is ordering 500 copies. He will sell out, but all of you will be left with 1.00 books in the longrun. Reign of Superman here we come. Books like walking dead #1 are great because nobody saw it coming. You talking about Yesteryear Comics?

krighton
I've read enough of the following exclamations (shocked, mind blowing, crazy, insane, nuts) to not really know 100% what's going to happen. If you do know for sure, I really need Friday's lottery numbers.

Awax
don't think the print run will catch Reign of Superman, or any major Marvel DC title for that matter Print run of today is proportionate to the reader ship of today as well. So yes if everyone buys multiple copies just as they did in the 90's you will have the same results. This might be the most important post this month. It feel its true. krighton
threads like these are fun to look back on in a few months. Once the rubber meets the road. Similar things were said about Saga, myself included, that the print run would be too high to make it a good investment. cujobyte
I don't bother trying to speculate on these type of books. I grab a few, because honestly what's a $20-30 gamble at 50% preorder? Interesting enough Saga's numbers seem to be larger and 9 mo's later it's holding strong. IF EOW is a great read, who knows.
Awax
I just think things are different now.. A lot more new collectors since SAGA came out. Hope I'm wrong though.

Even if people by the same number, i doubt anything could reach 90s level again. Just arent enough stores buying stuff by the box.
