Just in case you need that translated for you, wonder boy Michael Turner's last issue of Superman/Batman has been pushed back over a month and won't be out until mid-September.

And the QUARTERLY(!) Secret War book has just had it's 3rd issue pushed back TWO MONTHS from when it is supposed to be out.

With the constant delays on books like these and the perennially late Daredevil: Father mini... I can completely understand the new reader getting PO'd and leaving.

Whatever happened to NOT soliciting projects until they were complete (or mostly complete)?

I'm really confused about the Daredevil: Father fiasco. I'm not upset mind you- I thought it was one of the worst things I've read in a long time; it just seems so ridiculous to have a project by the head honcho be such an embarrassment of lateness.

Maybe this is their way of pulling the plug on it because it was so terrible?

Marvel seems to do this all the time, which is one thing I appreciate that DC does not do as often. With Secret War, I don't mind the delay as much since it wasn't coming out monthly anyway. With DD: Father, honestly, who didn't smell this one a mile away? Sarcastically, the good thing about the delay in DD: Father is that it was so bad, I don't miss it and may not even pick up the rest of the series. As far as John Cassaday informed, AXM is and expected to be on schedule. As a fan, I wish Planetary came out monthly.

To be honest, I wish Planetary came out four times a month.

I will settle for monthly Cassaday on AXM though. He really hasn't disappointed.
