I've been wanting to take a stab at this comic since the cover just looks awesome but the mention of the whole Mortal Kombat stuff made me steer away.

You should! The punch through the stomach has been used multiple times in Invincible over the last 7 years and looks very similar

Ohhh haha ok. Its a pretty minor ripoff then, and I doubt it was intentional.

 

In this latest issue they do a great job of building up the drama and anticipation of how Superman is going to react.

Anyone else reading The Authority??? errr....Injustice. I actually like it enough that i am going to get the next two digital issues so I can be up to date.

I'm reading it. Each digital issue is worth the buck. Every issue is great, the one with Harley Quin was a bit slow but it was funny.

I really liked the book. Not a huge DC fan, but this one was really traumatic. The only I didnt like was the trio of pencilers they used. I like the 3rd penciler the best.

Read issue 2 today and enjoyed it as well. Its kinda headed down the same Batman vs Superman future story. I cant remember the title of it though.

not a fan of the costumes designs at all, and joker in particular looks terrible, looks like a pretty boy in clown make up, not menacing at all. but that scene of supes punching a whole through his chest was pure awesome, then supes zoning out in the fortress with his arm still caked in dried joker blood and a five o clock shadow was awesome too.
