Humidity Level for Storing Comics?

82 posts in this topic

Some advice that can be helpful, most the central air units in your homes can have a humidifier installed to them at the air handler, this allows you to control the overall humidity in the entire house. Then you can put a room unit in your comic room, This allows the room unit to work less hard at wicking out the extra moisture. The central unit can get you to around 65%(you don't want the central unit to low as it will dry out your skin/scalp, and your caulking in your interior trim), then the room unit can handle the extra moisture(25%-15%). Plus, try to leave your thermostat alone and just switch to AC or Heat without adjusting the temperature.
