Beefsteak Rye was made by Hostess. It's been missing since they went belly up.

 

I hope someone else starts making it again. There's a few other beefsteak breads but they just don't taste like Beefsteak Rye.

 

Yeah, Beefsteak Rye was the best. Pretty much went through high school eating tuna sammiches on Beefteak Rye.

However, Stop & Shop makes a rye bread that's pretty good.

Man did I ever love that title back in the day.... but those delays killed me (and it).
