best way to ship OA

Excellent thread.

Personally I use 3 pieces of rigid cardboard filler to ship domestically and 4 pieces (depending on the price) for International.

I also put them in Poly bags, taped up for protection against moisture.

I order my cardboard from Bags Unlimited after years of trying to salvage cardboard from Appliance stores.

 

I use *strong* tape on each package and use tape to reinforce the corners.

 

I used to use masonite until a nice piece I shipped was literally split in half - along with the masonite.

 

I've had one damaged piece over the past year. Not sure how bad it was. The buyer kept the piece even after I offered a full refund.
