Any U.S. Shippers Use DHL for International Shipments?

Just wondering what the experience has been, how cost compares to FedEx and UPS, and whether DHL limits insurance coverage for collectibles like FedEx and UPS do.

Do Not use DHL. Seriously, Dont.

 

We use DHL to bring our stuff in from the US and in recent months their service has deteriorated.

 

Then, when we knew we were going to be sending out multiple small packages to the US with our Superior Spidey variant we asked the DHL rep for a reliable service. He sold us their Deutchepost service which he told us was 5 days to US & Canada.

 

It was a nightmare. The earliest stuff took to get there was 8 days but that was the minority. Most of the packages took 2 to 3 weeks and some still have not arrived.

 

Their customer service stinks if there is a problem. luckily we photographed the bags going onto the van as evidence but they really don't want to know.

 

I dont think any of the major carriers are much better, but I strongly urge you to avoid DHL.
