the authority
A nice article that includes Five Ghosts and Frank's "exploding" career. Congrats on the mention Frank http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/10/30/live-from-the-comic-shop-preparing-to-be-dazzled-by-sandman-overture-the-fox-five-ghosts-the-legend-of-the-masamune/
accessndx
If Frank's career keeps exploding like this, I'm going to have to wear a poncho in this thread Gallagher style....

NigelTufnel42
Yeah, it's a keeper. Not sure how old some of you are but i was 8 or 9 when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out and i think that is why this resonates with me so much. It reminds me of Raiders which takes me back to my childhood...simpler more peaceful times.

Buy the soundtrack and play it while watching Fabian battle super spiders and I'll bet you get the same feel. Sword versus gun was classically great the first time I saw it. That was not supposed to be shot like that...Harrison Ford went Lone Wolf when they were shooting that scene and Spileberg loved it so much that they went with him whipping out the gun and shooting the dude. It was originally supposed to be a drawn out fight. Raiders was the movie that made me love going to the Theatre.

Incredible as to me it is one of the most memorable scenes from any movie. Lucas and Spielberg were on fire back then.

Cannot imagine anyone but Harrison Ford playing that role.

Lots of charm and charisma. He has aged with style and is now one of the leads in Blue Bloods. Great show.

My dad and I use to watch Raiders all the time when I was little so when I read Five Ghosts it takes me back and brings the kid out in me. I'm a young gun though so Raiders was already a classic when I first watched it.
Frank J. Barbiere
Alright, guys--time to get crazy! When I was cleaning out my apartment last night I found a FIVE GHOSTS PROMO ASHCAN bagged and boarded amongst my possessions. This is the most rare Five Ghosts artifact out there...it was a small preview I printed up for SCDC '12 when the Kickstarter had just finished and has a few finished pages, inked pages, penciled pages, and pin-ups. There were only around 50 made and most were probably thrown out or given away. Plus it's in the best condition anyone will probably find one! I'm trying to raise some money to help my move, so I posted it as an auction on eBay. Hope that's not tacky, but check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161141125960 Good luck! I started the auction at $0.99 with no reserve, so this should be fun ; ).
