Neal Adams to customer:

"Why is the queue never getting shorter?"

Customer to Neal Adams:

"But Neal, it's not that the queues aren't getting any shorter, the planet is getting bigger."

My first close encounter with Neal Adams during the con was when walking next to him as he was 'escorted' back from the toilets by one of our fellow boardies - a helping hand goes a long way.

Hi All,

As promised I've joined the boards after LSCC :-)

I'm the ComicCon virgin who was there with Dave (Max Carnage). It was great to meet a whole bunch of you (the wrong way round by meeting many of you in person before on the forums!!) and I look forward to sticking around here and meeting up at future events.

Welcome To The Boards Mark :)

Soooooo...

Got back Monday afternoon after my 11 1/2 hour flight and 8 hour time change. Had the sniffles and a pretty strong headache Monday night.

Woke up yesterday not feeling too hot. Then my temperature shot up to 103.5 by 7 PM. Spent the whole day between the sheets staring at the paint peel off the wall. Woke up at around midnight in a pool of sweat - temperature dropped down to 99.5

I don't know what the hell I picked up over there. I've had my flu shot (which isn't 100% I know)

Taking it easy today. Drinking a lot of fluids.

:(

Seem like half the board members attending went down with death like symptoms shortly afterwards.

Luckily I'm built of sterner stuff. :acclaim:

Geez not you too. Half of us picked up the same thing it seems.

Hope you get better soon.

All of you came down with greggy-itis

You're lucky, it's usually fatal

A good reason to avoid England, it seems.
