Use a Bone # 1 CGC 9.6 as part of a trade for Amazing Fantasy # 15??? The AF has about 1/6 of the upper right corner cut off. Complete, nice spine, staples attached, one little chip on the lower cover. My eyes tell me it would grade at about 5.0-6.0 if it was complete.

My feeling is I can find another Bone at around $1,000 but not another AF # 15 in the $2,000. range.

the AF15 is only 2K? what grade is it?

I would, but that's me (Bone for AF15). Which means more to YOU is the real question.

3.0 ASM's sure... but he's talking Amazing Fantasy #15. Much more valuable even.

 

A 3.0 AF15 is probably 6-7K.

AF15 every time unless you are a fan of Bone. If you have an AF15 tucked away for a long time then I think it will fare very well

My opinion, you have a chance to get an AF15, you pull the trigger.

 

But I also am not sure what all you are throwing in to go along with the Bone issue.

And if you did pull the trigger on the AF15, and down the road you wanted to upgrade, you probably wouldnt have much difficulty at all in finding a buyer.

If I had a Bone 1 I would not sell or trade it at this point. Full stop.

 

Bone is a book that is widely read by school kids, and will be forever in print. I can see it having huge future upside.

I'd do it. You've assigned a value and if the scales seem even. Personally I'd rather own the first Spider-Man than the first character that may have an upside later.

 

Think of it as High Grade first Moon Knight terms.
