Platinum Grades

Your Diceness,

It looks pretty nice . . . afraid to take it out of the bag? 27_laughing.gif

9.4 I could go higher if I held it, but I'm reluctant to commit to higher grades with Moderns, as the grading is soooooooooooooo strict. sumo.gifthumbsup2.gif

p.s. Why the question mark under McFarlane's siggy?

The cover is printed on very very thick paper and is very common to have a faint color break up the fold of the spine..

Here's a scan of the back. I put red paper on it to give the spine some contrast.

The white specs are dirt on my scanner bed.

The book is flawless without a single stress or so much as a nutsack on it.

The only flaw is the color break up the spine, and another faint break on the back cover near the lower staple. The scan makes them a bit worse than they look in person.

Both are due to the heavy stock used for the cover, and are production related.

Will CGC knock it for them? I'm sure they will. But how much?

The second scan is a closeup of the spine.
