So, the First Annual Friday Night Slam Meme contest was fun.

The Modern Cover Art contest was amazing!

And of course, it's time for the next event.

[1] Must be drawn over the next seven days only (no prior work submissions)

[2] Contest lasts until Friday the 15th at Midnight EST (7 days like in The Ring )

[3] Can be an original work OR re-created cover

[4] Must create an ORIGINAL phantom LOGO on the cover

[5] Pen and/or pencil only

[6] Multiple submissions welcome

[7] Everyone welcome to participate, but PM me if you want to judge (need one more).

[8] Judges can't win (sorry)

[9] Three judge panel picks top five and then post poll (like last time).

[10] Don't worry if it blows, that makes it funnier.

[11] Noobs and lurkers encouraged to enter.

Everyone can draw. If you can write letters, numbers and draw basic shapes, you can draw. All you have to do is see the outlines of things. Once you learn to see the outlines, then all you have to do is see the shadows.

You can, but to be considered for the contest it has to be free-hand per the rules. You are welcome to throw any other creative work up here for other to enjoy and get a laugh.

Something I've started playing around with for a new logo design last night and this morning...

like it, less or more, you want these kinds of logos to not look like "store" logos, which is key.

 

however, if you look at "the other" guys logo, its black and mostly words too. not sure if its too close, but i love this one you did.
