Hi guys

 

I have seen it commented that if we want to avoid undergraded books It might be useful to try and reach a concensus on tight and loose grading periods.

 

So here is a thread for just that.

 

I will start the ball rolling with the conjecture that since the new graders have been at cgc, late 2012, grades have been tighter. I dont necessarily agree with this but it has been said frequently.

 

Hopefully we can build a calendar and then watch the flippers bid up the tight period books.

I'm slowly getting better at self-grading.. but that is only through examining poorly graded books.. which isn't a complete education, given they are slabbed.

 

But what resources, guides or advice can you give to n00bs like me who are still learning how to grade realistically?
