Seems like the lines between Marvel and Wizard are starting to blur...

because now we have the "Wizard Book Of The Month" logo on She-Hulk #6. I guess Marvel didn't kick out enough "Wizard First" Gem 10.0 Mint copies for the program so Marvel had to find a way to kiss Wizard's butt by giving them a logo on a comic each month. Which brings me to a poll question.

They've done things like that before. The Wizard best writer award for Bendis ended up on a copy of Daredevil, for example.

That doesn't concern me so much as Wizard is now re-publishing Marvel material. First they had the X-Men Masterpiece collection hardcover, they just published the Wolverine one and now they are doing a Spider-Man one. They are quality packages, but shouldn't Marvel be doing their own hardcovers?

 

They also have the Ace editions which are about 95% Marvel reprints, with the occasional indie book thrown in (like Strangers in Paradise or most recently, Wanted).

 

Before that it was the 1/2 issues.
