With everything Guardians of the Galaxy skyrocketing in price, I find it hard to believe the 1990 Guardians of the Galaxy 1 only goes for a few bucks. I know it's not the same team etc, etc, etc, but to me there seems to be a lot of opportunity here, as it is a 1st issue. I never even knew this book existed, only focusing on MSH 18 and the 2008 1st issue.

MSH18 lost almost all of its heat when people realized it was a different team too. IMO not many people care about the older Guardians.

This may change. They brought back the old team in the current GOTG in issue 14

+1, if Disney puts its entire market force behind the debut, how could it not? Toys, games, clothing...a possible revenue stream for years of done right

 

Anyone with kids can attest, see Frozen...I have a better chance of finding a 9.9 AF 15 at a yard sale than an Elsa or Anna doll
