I see what look like 3 color-breaking creases on the front cover, one of them pretty bad, and only one on the back. I'd call it an 8.0.

The crease by the top staple looks like it goes all the way through the book. I'd probably grade at a 8.0/8.5.

I've seen worse get a 9.4 but i'll go 9.2

Those creases go all the way thru. There looks to be a bend on the back bottom left corner, and it appears that the top cover edge is worn on the right and left. On the back cover, there appears to be a crease and color missing above the name Jeff. Top and bottom spine covers are blunted.

 

I would say somewhere in the range of 8.5/9.0
