PGM - Weird Science #12(1)

Hi

 

Please help me grade my Weird Science #12(1)

 

Looking it over my comments are:

 

- Cover and centerfold are attached at both staples

- Staple rust with migration to paper

- Light pencil markings on cover, someone gave him a beard!

- 3/4 tear in cover

- Spine splits

- 1/4 square loose piece top of spine

- Some interior page staining

- 3/4 square piece out of one page, doesn't effect art.

- 1/2" tears to 4 pages

- 1/2" tear on back cover

Complements to you, best images and description of a book to be graded I've ever seen. Next time someone posts small, cropped, or blurred images for grading I'm gonna link to this thread.

 

I want to give this a G thanks to the very nice outer edge but the rusty staples and general staple and spine wear is dragging me down to 1.8.

Some positive qualities despite the wear and flaws. I'll guess it just squeaks in as a 2.0.
