I just bought an 8.0 SP (cover and centerfold reinforced, staple cleaned) and got to wondering how other collectors see this decision. (I'm delighted.)

Which is preferable?

Note: bad proofreading when I set up the poll - it was meant to be 3.0 Blue (cover and centerfold detached). In other words, the same book graded as universal, qualified or after professional restoration.

Qualified is better than blue label because people are fooled by the higher number, even though eye appeal is exactly the same. Restored is the worst to have right now, too few give it the credit it deserves. Obviously, my personal choice would be the opposite, by order of preference:

Restored (because I crack and read)

Blue label (because it'll come out cheaper)

Qualified (because I just find it a lazy way to grade!)
