Marvel Comic Group

I posted this in GA a few days ago but decided to try the SA folks as well. I was always under the impression that "Marvel Comic Group" was an SA and later term. I found this in a copy of Lawbreakers Always Lose! from 1948.

 

Any thoughts on the start of "Marvel Comic Group"?

 

Also interesting to note the titles then available
