The show has been declining for several years now. The same stale vendors and the increase in porn really made it seem shady. He is attempting to switch to a bi-monthly event where he can focus more on quality, so he plans on having bigger name guests and more national dealers. So this past Sunday he had John Romita Jr. signing stuff, CGC was accepting submissions, and Harley was there. I think it may be a slow evolution if it does increase in quality. No premium on Ohios is nice, so I'm able to get nicely graded books with some provenance often a good deal below guide. Well its no wondering why Northlands would be your faves, Steve, with a stunner like that one! Just stick with the early to mid '60s books - I can tell you from firsthand experience that the later Silver and early Bronze, while still nice, do not have as good color preservation as the earlier part of the collection.
