How amazing was this series? Gerber had an epic imagination. Apart from the few spine ticks you see, this is a real sharp copy and might well grade out higher than a VF. Note there's a slight printer's crease running through Spidey's right thigh and hand. Guide notes "low distribution" for this ish.

After two cameos in Jimmy Olsen, here's the first full Darkseid appearance! If you read a certain thread in General you know that "spine realignment therapy" could turn this into a HG book, har har. But as it stands now, this is just a solid readable copy of a rising "key".

First appearance of Etrigan in one of my favorite Kirby titles... not to mention the source of my avatar, natch. The color strike on this copy is insane!

Journey Into Mystery No. 119 / GD/VG / SOLD

 

First appearance Hogun, Fandral, Vostagg, second appearance of the Destroyer. Structurally better than a 3.0 but some pesky moisture has touched the bottom left corner of the cover and transferred to some interior pages of the book. Luckily the end effect is more of a slight rippling and a whitish coloring rather than a dark stain.

First appearance of Ms. Mary Jane Watson in a quick cameo! Nice lower-grade copy with the main issues being the wrinkling you can discern on the cover - staples are tight, centering is great, and book is solid.

Superboy No. 89 / VG/FN / SOLD

 

First appearance of Mon-El, second appearance of the Phantom Zone! Not to sound like a writeup on Pedigree's site, but this is a pretty stunning copy for the grade. It lays flat as a board (has not been pressed) and the colors are bright and the gloss shines like it's a newsstand-fresh copy. The only real issue is the chip on the lower outer edge you see and the wrinkling at the bottom of the book.
