I think the right edge and some of the damage to spine will keep this book from grading any higher than a VF (8.0).

I think that the book will receive 9.0, if not higher.

 

I saw a FF 116 with a terrible spine receive a 9.4. I think CGC considers most of the spine "damage" on the bigger books to be a production flaw.

It is better than a 8.0 that's for sure. It is a solid 9.0 in my humble opinion. Excellent gloss, colour. It isnt worth a whole lot. I would keep in the proper bag, board.

I'll top the others and say a minimum of 9.2.

The whites on that book are outstanding.

 

If it doesn't get at least a 9.2 then the graders should turn in their OWL cards!

 

I'd say 50% at a 9.4 as well!

That is very true.

 

I believe that there is a grading curve for squarebounds.

 

You cannot take too much off for the spine being like that, that one is not all to bad either.

 

I am going to say 9.0/9.2, worth grading? I would say yes, there are always 100 page collectors out there looking for 9.2s

I just found out that this book is in the mail back from CGC So anyone who wants to get in on the "guess the grade" contest is welcome to add their thoughts. I should be posting the grade Friday or thereabouts.
