The Rathskellar was a legendary punk bar in Kenmore Square in Boston. Tons of Punk and New Wave bands got there start there. The CBGB of Boston otherwise it was a dump

 

I made many a trip to "The Rat" during my 49 years in Boston thanks to a seductive girl I knew in the 70s.

Didn't know you did a bid in Boston Blowie. Were you around before Mitch the doorman passed? I used to hit the Rat, but during my heaviest bohemian days for rock clubs I spent more time at the Middle East.
