Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie starring Tom Cruise

15 posts in this topic

Good news and a long time coming, if (big IF) they do it as a semi-serious spy drama. Batman was such a tv phenomenon that U.N.C.L.E. converted to campy shlock too.

Those Sherlock Holmes movies are enjoyable plus a Bourne writer on the -script. Reasons to hope. :wishluck:

It would be a nice touch if Vaughn or McCallum got a chance to read for the "Mr. Waverly" role.

Certainly I've enjoyed Vaughn's recent work in the HUSTLE series

I wish Tom Cruise would go away.

Yeah. Was so disappointed they cast him as my favorite current fiction character, Jack Reacher. 'Reacher' = 6'5", Cruise = 5'7. Fail. Still haven't seen the movie.

Yes, it would be lovely.

I watched a couple of episodes a while back and was astonished at how "out of it" Leo G Carroll was. I had to check and he was 82 the year the the series ended, so I guess he can be forgiven.

Does this mean these things will be worth something? :shy:

Tom Cruise is at cause over matter, energy, space and time so watch what you say. He could as-is you.

Being OT VIII, homeboy could just scientology you to death. Have mailers sent to your house, missionaries, all kinda annoying mess.

It's directed by Guy Ritchie, so it's possible that Ray Winstone could be cast as Waverly.

''Oi! Solo! Kuryakin!

The whole project will be 100% win.
