Colorado gets snow all the way into June. Trust me - Canada does not have the lockdown on late year snow.

we frequently have snow late May / early June. Even had it on 4th of July once.

 

I think it rarely snows in July in over 6 years that I lived in Colorado.

 

Now Alaska was an odd experience with the 23 hours or light and dark. But what I miss most is the aurora borealis, moose crossings and -50 to -70.
