Tons of those photos are photoshopped. Several of them are simply awful, because of the size of the magazine. Clearly they are Life, or Boy's Life or whatever, with a comic shopped onto them. Golden Age comics are bigger, but they are not magazine sized, and they sure as hell aren't Life magazine sized.

Bob Beerbohm gave me a poster made from the "Comicland" shot that serves as a nameplate on my comic room.

 

 

Absolutely, a lot of them are legit as well, i would think. Some of them are just grossly out of proportion, and there is no way the one with the 3 Action 1s is legit. lol
