favorite comic shops in new york city?

My favorite is Jim Hanley's Universe at 4 West 33rd Street off 5th ave.

Midtown was showcased on the Travel Channel's Marvel's Guide to NYC which was on some weeks ago. (nice chain there, Vincent! )

I go to Gotham Comics whenever I pick up new comics (which is usually every wednesday but sadly, none of the books I pick up are coming out this week).

 

I really like the service at Gotham. Very friendly and helpful.

My favorite is Midtown comics and Time Machine with frequent stops for the newer stuff at Collectors Universe and Cosmic Comics and sometimes Jim Hanleys

Time Machine on 14th street. The guys are friendly and the prices are right!

JHs Universe in Manhatten is a great store. His store in Staten Island is greater still.. Chameleon Comics in Flushing is pretty kool.Midtown Comics is pretty good as well. I hear real good things about the Time Machine store,but have yet to be in it myself.
