Thank you for posting that link. :applause:

This image brought a smile. The little girl is so intensely focused on her comic book while riding "side saddle" in her Sunday finest.

 

Comic books were truly the "tablets" of their day, portable graphic experiences to be enjoyed anywhere, anytime, while doing almost anything. :cloud9:

I knew some folks around here would appreciate the pictures..

 

I haven't gone to bed yet..or I would have saved some and posted them

Those are some awesome pictures. Is it possible to feel nostalgic about a time before you were born? lol

 

I have always been, since I have clear memories. I used to daydream about how life must have been when my parents (and relatives) were children.

That was pretty much what got me into collecting golden age period italian Disney comics (1930s) when I was a teenager – that was what got me in "serious collecting", period. lol

 

This photo testifies how much Captain Marvel is cool (:
