*paull*
#6 is a tough one to find and I've known this for a while. It took me over a year to find a complete, unmodified copy, and paid a bit more for it than I expected.
Jeffreykli
Unfortunately, I DO have a desire for a few other definitive covers that WILL be costing me. but Eerie 1 1947, Voodoo Annual, Secret Diary of Eerie and Cap 75 will all have to be obtained first! (Unless there is an insano good price). Did you see the two Eerie one-shots that Heritage sold recently? Were you in on the bidding? http://www.heritagecomics.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=818&Lot_No=2340&src=pr http://www.heritagecomics.com/common/view_item.php?Sale_No=818&Lot_No=2339&src=pr I was in on the bidding. As was I. I was surprised the 5.0 went for so low, but then it had the speckling.

PovertyRow
Did you see the two Eerie one-shots that Heritage sold recently? Were you in on the bidding? I was watching the bidding and decided to bid and stupid freaking ebay made me hit my password AGAIN before letting me bid, even though I was already signed in. So I lost out on bidding for the 5.0. But the price it got gives me hope. Not as high as many were betting, I'll bet. I mean, for that book a 5.0 is nothing to sneeze at. But the price realized was a lot less than I was expecting. You'll see. One day I shall have it.

Scrooge
Nothing earth-shattering here but fills a hole (+ I kinda like the face on the carver dude) -
Scrooge
I was happier with this pick-up - Out of the Night # 1. Great book. It has a cool cover - and a nice werewolf story by Williamson - AAAWOOOOHHH

Jayman
Nothing earth-shattering here but fills a hole (+ I kinda like the face on the carver dude) - Even though this book probably predates the movie Psycho I like the fact that the name "Janet Lee" is on the tombstone. *paull*
I was going to say, "That guy Harold Williams can really draw!". Of course he can since it's Al Williamson Hey Original, if I can upgrade my #6, I'll sell you mine. I looked at that one on eBay, but too expensive for the risk of amateur resto. originalisbest
Cool paull - if you ever do upgrade lemme know, I am in the market for one! Norinn, that is one of the better ACG covers, toss in the Williamson art and it's an all-around winner of an issue.
*paull*
I'm way behind on posting my new pre-code horror books. My newest purchase is Haunted Thrills #13 in 6.5. I'm getting closer to a really nice run of Haunted Thrills, but it's going to take me a while and some cash to finish this run the way I'd like to (about 5.0 and up). originalisbest
Beautiful #13 - much nicer than my copy in G. Your run will be tops - I'm envious!
*paull*
Goldust, this one wasn't an eBay buy. Thanks for the compliments. My scanner didn't do a good job of the red/pink below the title... it's much brighter and more on the pink side. Original... I still have a ways to go! In fact, you have more of the run than I do!
