Oh yeah, this book has been called one of the vilest books published during the era. No redeeming value whatsoever for the art (except the Bailey cover) and the stories are indeed vile. bronze johnny Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 One reason why I find WC 2 more disturbing as an injury to eye cover than MM 12 has to do with the hook already connecting to the eye. Baily leaves it open to interpretation as to whether or not the eye in MM 12 will be injured. The poor guy may not lose his eye after all- there's some hope he might keep it.
