Korvac Saga
A recent purchase from a fellow boardie: I'm really loving the precodes lately! ... and what an issue to love GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Agreed! Nothing quite says "I just conquered your planet" more than this Anderson cover of an alien foot stomping on the survivor amidst the war-torn devastation. Couldn't have said it any better!! Thanks guys. (thumbs u

originalisbest
My favorite skull cover. Metro has the OA in their office. Apparently a relatively recent purchase. So they're the ones that scored that! It was up in a Heritage auction and discussed some months ago. Iconic horror piece.

It was up in a Heritage auction and discussed some months ago. Iconic horror piece. Yes, right by the front desk. Rob explained that they had an artist recreate the title which was missing from the OA. I was surprised that Stephen had never heard of the Zanti Misfits episode of the Outer Limits which this so clearly seems an influence for. He asked me if the SFX were cheesy and I exclaimed,"Of course, it was 50+ years ago!!"LOL!!

BB-Gun
[font:Arial Black]One of the guys, Comic Jack, posted a scan of the Phantom Creeps comic. With Bela and the giant killer robot, it has to qualify as one of the earliest horror comics.[/font] OK, I posted his pic. Sorry Jack.
