We just posted a new item that pretty cool.

 

1938 DETECTIVE COMICS #18 COVER PROOF! CREIG FLESSEL!

 

Creig Flessel is one of the few Golden Age pioneers who would occasionally work out of the DC offices. It was his habit to request a cover proof direct from printer when his work went to press. Offered here is one of the most iconic pre-super hero covers in the history of the medium, featuring Sax Rohmer's character Dr. Fu Manchu, the archtype of the evil criminal genius which was prevalent in cinema, television, radio, comic strips and comic books for over 90 years! This cover was purchased directly from Craig 20 years ago and has never been on the market.

 

Cover proof direct from printer measures 10" x 8" and is in overall Very Fine+/ Near Mint- Of critical importance the back cover is blank and the colors are pristine.
