I can't stand critics takes on most movies anyways so this doesn't bother me. Top rated current movies by critics list:

Mud, Before Midnight, Stories We Tell, Blancanieves, Room 237, The Sapphires, Frances Ha, and We Steal Secrets: The Story Of Wikileaks. I will watch probably 1 of these so critics takes mean little to me. If the mass audience kills a movie then I start to worry although I've seen movies at around 50-60% by the audience that I still liked .

It shouldn't be bothering anybody--most critics are liking this film. Obsessing on the minority who didn't enjoy it is pointless. As long as a superhero film gets above say 50% Rotten Tomatoes, it's going to be a good film to all of us here who I presume are fans by definition. :angel: Mixed reviews only really matter to people who aren't already fans of the genre.

After listing the sins of Superman Returns last week, we thought it only fair to go back in time several decades and point the sin counter at one of the most beloved of all superhero movies: Superman The Movie. The year, 1978. The star, Christopher Reeve. The sins... not as plentiful.

Here is a positive review from comicvine

Man of Steel Review

 

I spotted at least two Easter Eggs which filled my face with such a goofy smile and I haven't been this excited about a movie universe's future since Tony Stark met Nick Fury. Speaking of which, there unfortunately wasn't a mid or post credits scene during my screening.

 

There's been a lot of speculation about this. hm
